Kaneka Medix (We) occasionally receive proposals on ideas, memorandums, drawings, concepts, etc. for new products, technologies, designs, manufacturing processes, advertisements, marketing, etc. ("Proposals"). We undertake research and development on our own. Unpublished ideas we developed uniquely may be, therefore, similar to your proposals in such situations. It could result in misapprehension or disputes. In order to avoid such possible future confusion, we have a policy not to accept any information that may contain "Proposals" unless we request it. If you send a "Proposal", we consider that you sent it with your consent to the following.

1. We have no obligation to treat the "Proposal" as confidential information.
2. We have no obligation to study, evaluate and adopt the "Proposal".
3. Even if our products, technologies, designs, manufacturing processes, advertisements, marketing, etc. happen to be identical or similar in whole or in part to a "Proposal", we have no responsibility whatsoever including the payment of compensation to proposer.
